H.E. Mr. Amir Farid Abu Hassan, Acting High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh emphasized on exploring the Business and Investment Opportunities in Bangladesh while made the welcome remarks in the seminar. He also emphasized developed bi-lateral trade between two brotherly countries.
Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) accompanied with Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) has organized a Seminar on “Business and Investment Opportunities in Bangladesh” at BMCCI office premises on 2nd December, 2019.
Mr. Jai Shankar, Director of Oil, Gas, Chemicals and Energy Section of MATRADE and leader of the delegation made the opening remarks on the occasion and briefed about the objective of the mission.
Syed Moazzam Hossain, President, BMCCI presented a paper on “Overview of Bangladesh Market Landscape”. He highlighted the present scenario of business and investment in Bangladesh. He urged Malaysian investors and businessmen to invest in the emerging economy of Bangladesh
Mr. Sumon Chowdhury, Secretary & Director(Investment Research and Economic Observatory), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), presented a paper on “Investment Opportunities in Bangladesh” and Abul Kalam Azad, Secretary General, Bangladesh Chemical Importers & Merchants Association presented a paper on “The Demands and Opportunities for Chemicals & Chemical Products in Bangladesh”.
An eight member delegation from MATRADE, BMCCI members, Members of Bangladesh Chemical Importers & Merchants Association, officials from High Commission of Malaysia, business leaders, and journalists took part in the Business Seminar.
